FAQ
What is available from the Food Pantry?
The UTEP Food Pantry provides free food and related items to students facing food insecurity and in need of assistance. The Food Pantry provides supplemental support, this means that we do not provide all of the food and supplies needed in an everyday lifestyle. We only provide non-perishable items. (Canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned meat, cereal, rice, beans, granola bars, etc.) If you need additional support, staff of the Pantry are trained to help by referring you to other food programs in the El Paso Del Norte community.
How can I become a volunteer at the UTEP food pantry?
There are many ways that the UTEP community or registered student organizations can help the food pantry. These include but are not limited to: Facilitating a food drive, participating in workshops, forums and activities that bring awareness around food insecurity.
