Water bottle refilling stations II |
• Additional funding to install five new water filling stations in select locations throughout the UTEP campus. The project supports the elimination of disposable bottles while increasing UTEP's contribution to sustainability efforts.

Miners for the Amazon |
• A student sponsored event focused on raising funds for and awareness of the critical state of the Amazon as a result of recent fires. In addition to providing environmentally minded groups on campus with an opportunity to share information about their organizations and invite others to join, the event will include a meal, film and panel discussion. Students in attendance will be surveyed to measure impact of the event on their understanding of sustainability.

Green Fund Outreach Program |
• Proposal to increase Green Fund visibility and facilitate the interaction between potential applicants, the Committee and the UTEP community. This objective will be met through the employment of a student dedicated to activating and maintaining social media networks while designing and directing marketing campaigns to increase the number and scope of green proposals. The student will work under the guidance of the Student Affairs marketing department.
