For VA Certification submit an updated Letter/Certificate of Eligibility (LOE/COE) dated within a year. You can submit an updated copy of your entitlement information when requesting benefits.
You may request an updated Letter/Certificate of Eligibility (LOE/COE) by submitting a question at https://ask.va.gov/ . If you do not have an account, you will need to create an account and a ID.me or Login.gov and then submit a question asking one the following:
How many months of VA Education Benefits Entitlement do I have remaining?
"What is my delimiting date?"
"What is my eligibility percentage?"
* Responses could take approximately 3 business days or more. Once you receive a response, you may upload a PDF screenshot of it in place of the LOE/COE document.
