The Student Update Information Form (SUIF) can be submitted to our office for change of major, entry term, and personal information. Please submit SUIF forms to submit@utep.edu. |

If you aren’t a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident but graduated or will graduate from a Texas high school, you may qualify for residency for tuition purposes and should submit the affidavit. |

The Core Residency Questions is used to verify residency status of applicants through a series of questions. |

Students applying from a Texas private high school must submit the RCCF form with the High School transcript. |

Incoming freshmen applicants graduating from an out-of-state high school must include the High School Certification form along with official transcripts. |

Residents of the bordering counties of New Mexico can submit the waiver to receive resident status for one year with proof of address. |

Military Resources |
|
A waiver to receive resident tuition for service members and dependents stationed in Texas who do not already meet Texas residency requirements. |
|
Intent to Establish Residence By registering a letter of intent to establish residence in Texas, eligible veterans and dependents may pay resident tuition without regard to length of time residing in Texas for one year. |
|
Choice Act A qualifying veteran or dependent using certain VA Benefits may qualify for tuition and fees at the resident rate within 3 years of discharge, regardless of formal state of residence. |
