Alumni Membership

One of the great perks of being a UTEP Alumni is having access to the UTEP Student Recreation Center

Memberships may be purchased at the Student Recreation Center Member Sevices in the form of check or credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa). Tap to pay is also available. Alumni members have limited use of facilities and programs. 

To take advantage of this perk, here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Fill out the Rec Center Membership Request for Alumni
    1. Note: You do not need to wait for an email confirmation in order to proceed with your membership purchase. Our team will verify your alumni status and confirm with the Recreational Sports Department staff directly.
  2. Visit the UTEP Student Recreation Center in person to purchase your membership. The various rates are provided below.

Alumni must have a membership to the Student Recreation Center in order to purchase membership for their dependents.

Annual Membership

Fall: Sept 1 - Aug 31 Spring: Jan 1 - Aug 31 Summer: Jun 1 - Aug 31 Monthly

Note: Children are considered ages 2 – 17. Children will have access to the swimming pool ONLY. Children under the age of 2 enter at no charge.

Monthly fees will be available for UTEP Alumni SRC member spouse in lieu of paying annual fee. Monthly fees will be accepted between the 1st & 7th of each month for that month only. If an Alumni member wants to bring a child but not purchase the membership for the child they will be charged a guest fee per child per visit.

  • Climbing Gym (Must sign waiver to access) during open gym hours
  • Racquetball challenge court during open recreation operational hours only
  • Equipment checkout (does not include OAP rental equipment)

NOTE: DEPENDENT MEMBERSHIPS AND GUESTS DO NOT INCLUDE PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES (I.E. INTRAMURALS, SPORTS CLUBS, FITNESS PROGRAMS, CLIMBING GYM IF UNDER 18, OUTDOOR ADVENTURE TRIPS, CHALLENGE COURSE, OUTDOOR RENTAL AND EQUIPMENT CHECK OUT.)
