As a Neuroscience major, I am someone that highly values writing in more ways than one. Working at the Writing Center has been incredibly rewarding and I could not ask for a better experience. I have been given amazing opportunities that will undoubtedly stick with me and I am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful group of people.
I am more than willing to work with any student, but naturally, I have a bias for creative writing. Because of my experiences and personality, I am most fascinated by a piece that can take me to a reality that isn’t my own but can be for a period of time. Its ability to transform and serve as a form of expression is just one of the reasons I love writing so much, which can apply to pretty much all of my hobbies.
The writing process can be grueling for many, so I wanted to share some helpful tips. For me, listening to music and jotting down a simple outline goes a long way. It is also vital to do research on whatever topic is being discussed. There are many resources out there for students, and that includes the Writing Center. We are always happy to help and are here for those who need it!
