I’ve always admired the way a writer can paint vivid, colorful images inside the reader’s mind using only words of black and white. Some of the writers I praise are Suhaib Rumi, Gilraen Eärfalas, and Suzanne Collins. Although I don’t consider myself a poet, I appreciate the craft and love helping people put the beauty of the world into words. When writing stories, I enjoy asking the writer what inspired them to create their worlds and characters; working together to make them more unique and interesting. Regarding academic writing, I believe it’s important to make yourself sound professional, that’s why checking for grammar, proofreading, and going over the assignment are always essential steps to make; and a second pair of eyeballs to review your work is always good. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I embrace both languages within my own writing. My favorite genres to watch movies/shows and to read are horror, preferably psychological thrillers with lots of gore, and romance; there’s not an in-between and both are perfect with a nice cup of hot chocolate during a cold, rainy day. I feel most comfortable giving feedback and checking grammar and structure, so if you’d want someone to help you improve your personal and/or academic writing, don’t be afraid to reach out!
