All documents required by the UHP will no longer be accepted in person. Honors forms must be submitted electronically via MineTracker. Documents should be completely filled in order to be approved. Ensure that all information is true and accurate; incorrect information may result in not receiving honors credit.

Honors Students Step-by-Step Form Submission
The following links are intended to provide you access to the forms used within your time in the Honors Program. These forms serve as STEP 1 of 2 in the submission process.
All students, regardless of their college, must follow STEP1 and 2 and submit the following forms – please note that Notice Forms must be submitted and approved before Completion Forms
MineTracker Step-by-Step Form Guide for Form Submission and Completion - STEP 1
Honors Student must submit 4 notice forms, 4 completion forms, 4 event forms and 1 senior clearance form. Once "thumbs-up" is received on each form them you complete STEP 1 and you can moved to STEP 2 and final approval. Note: receiving thumbs up doesn't mean you have the final approval for your form, it means you have completed 1 of 2 step for the final approval.
- The forms need to be filled out and submitted; links for each one are provided below.
- Once the form is filled out, the person you work with will have to give a 'Thumbs-up or Thumbs-down.' As soon as you receive the 'Thumbs-up,' forms need to be downloaded and saved to your computer as a PDF.
For students who have already completed and gotten approval on HIP forms
Please use monicam@utep.edu (Monica Martinez) as your primary contact/person you work with to complete your activity. If the activity has been approved by the faculty or staff you worked with, there is no need to do it again; it will be immediately approved and processed (please allow 72 hours to get a thumbs-up from the UHP Office). For the event form you will be asked to upload an image; for events completed before Summer 2023, please upload the UHP logo as an image requirement.
For Liberal Arts Honors Students
For courses already completed, please add Dr. Andrew Fleck as your main contact for completing all Notice and Completion Forms.

Final Approval Process
For the final step, you'll need to submit a total of 13 forms, each contributing to the completion percentage. The percentage will adjust as you submit, process, get "Thumbs-up" and final approvals. To graduate with honors, this percentage must be fulfilled by the designated due date in your last semester before graduation.

MineTracker Step-by-Step Form Guide for Form Submission and Completion - STEP 2
Follow these steps to submit your form and track your progress towards achieving your honors degree recognition goal.
- Sign in to the MineTracker page LINK HERE.
- Click on the right corner where your initial name/picture is located and select “Paths” then “My Paths” will appear.
- Under "Progress for," choose "University Honors Program HIP Tracking." Optionally, set it as the default path for easy access to your overall progress and UHP forms.
- Select the title of the form you want to submit or click on the arrow down on the right corner of the form title for a drop-down menu. Choose the activity for which you want to fill out the form.
- This selection will lead you to another screen; click on "Report Experience."
- Choose "(UHP Step 2) Final Approval Honors Portfolio Forms – Senior Clearance, Events, Notice, and Completion."
- A small form will pop out. Add the complete form name, write a reflection, upload your PDF form previously approved with a “Thumbs-up,” and provide a description.
- Once all information is entered, click on submit and wait for up to 72 hours for UHP to respond.
