ADT Summer Teaching Research Grants

2024 ADT Summer Teaching Research Grants

The UTEP Academy of Distinguished Teachers (ADT) is providing a summer research grant opportunity to UTEP ADT members. You can propose any type of project related to increased student success, new teaching initiatives, development of content modules that can be shared broadly, or development of innovative teaching instruments that are not already funded. Projects must be of the scope that they can be completed during the 3-month summer period.
By mid-spring semester, you will complete a short report on the results. You will be asked to share them with the UTEP teaching community through presentations at a teaching and learning symposium and/or through the UTEP ADT website. A report template will be provided upon notification of the award.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please fill out the application below. All completed applications must be submitted to Jorge López (jorgelopez@utep.edu) no later than April 7, 2024. Three grants of $3000 will be awarded no later than April 26. Funds must be used between May 15 and August 15, 2024.
Please note that if you plan to publish the results of your study and it includes human subjects, IRB approval should be sought prior to the start of the project. Additional information will be provided as needed.
