Faculty Support Hub
We recommend you review/visit the following information:
The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) provides structured support for faculty pursuing grant partnerships that align with the CCE's goals and priorities.
1. Preliminary Consultation
- Timeline: At least 6–8 weeks before the grant deadline.
- Action: Schedule a meeting with a CCE representative.
- Purpose: Discuss project goals and CCE's capacity to support the project.
2. Submission of Request
- Deadline: 4-6 weeks before the grant deadline.
- Required Documents:
- Project Summary (objectives, target audience, expected outcomes).
- Grant Proposal Draft (if available)
- Specific Request for Scope of Work (e.g., workshops, partnerships, admin. tasks).
- Contact Information.
- Submission Method: Email to cce@utep.edu.
3. Review and Feedback
- Timeline: 2-3 weeks after submission.
- Action: The CCE will review the request, provide feedback, or suggest alternatives.
4. Drafting and Finalizing the Scope of Work
- Timeline: 1-2 weeks for completion.
- Action: The CCE will collaborate with faculty to finalize the Scope of Work and Estimated Budget.
5. Review and submission
- Action: Faculty include the finalized Scope of Work in the grant application.
- Deadline: Per the grant's timeline.
6. Post-Submission follow-up
- Action: Confirm receipt of the Scope of Work and partnership establishment. Address any questions or additional needs.
7. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND REPORTING
- Action: Acknowledge CCE's support in grant applications and reports. Share feedback to improve the process.
