Clinical Affiliates

Clinical rotations are provided through the clinical affiliates listed below. Additional affiliation agreements are continually being established to accommodate the University's enrollment requirements for cohorts of 20 or more students.

Please note that students may not rotate through all affiliated sites, as clinical assignments are based on site availability and capacity. Due to affiliate availability, students may not be guaranteed an immediate clinical assignment during the regular semester and may instead begin clinical rotations during a Part of Term in the fall or spring semesters (Preceptorship I and Preceptorship III).

Students should also be aware that they may be required to complete a preceptorship outside of the El Paso area at their own expense. If an insufficient number of students volunteer for out-of-town placements, students will be selected using a lottery system.

Some rural clinical affiliates may offer student stipends to assist with expenses; however, these stipends are not guaranteed and vary by affiliate.
