Origins of Individual and Group Health Behavior
SOCI 1301 - Dr. Ophra Leyser-Whalen
This course merges behavioral and biological sciences to introduce students to the sociological and political perspectives of society, particularly the medicalization of women’s bodies and the forces that shape birth practices in the United States. Students will develop critical thinking skills through a hands-on approach to learning and utilizing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
