Campus Outreach

New Student Orientation Time! Helen Geller and Annalisa Perez welcome incoming freshman talking about CREATE and the upcoming symposium.
Impactful and inspirational STEM leadership - shout out to Savannah Pitcher who planned, prepared and led a fun AI coding "Hands-On" Workshop for the CREATE Campus tour.

Pitcher shared: "This workshop is made to help introduce students to Generative AI and its uses. It covers how to formally write a Generative AI prompt, as well as editing it to elicit the correct output. By the end of the activity, students will have applied these skills to three different activities, enabling them to correctly write, identify, and edit the various components in their prompts, as well as the pros and cons of AI tools. Additionally, they'll delve into the field of cybersecurity, which enables them to understand how AI can be exploited and the necessity of taking proper precautions to prevent the exposure of sensitive information."
"Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration." - tony robbins
