Tristan Hernandez is a 2024 UTEP graduate in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Engineering Education and Leadership, Mathematics, and Communication. He is a former school board member for a local school district and his research interests include first-year university students' experience, high school students' transition to university, peer-to-peer mentorship, and student support networks.

Suzi Atiya a YSC/CREATE/Learning Environments alumni; holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences awarded in 2022 from UTEP. Majority of her work before and after undergrad entails advocacy and education.
