What is
AHSIE?

The AHSIE Conference is a national gathering that brings together students, faculty, administrators, and industry leaders committed to advancing and supporting first-generation students in higher education.

The conference provides opportunities for professional development workshops, leadership training, networking with educators and industry professionals, and discussions focused on educational equity and student success.

We are incredibly proud of  Ana, Crystal, and Renata  for representing UTEP CREATE at the AHSIE Conference. Among the many highlights, they had the opportunity to meet  Dr. Miguel Cardona , former U.S. Secretary of Education — a testament to the incredible access and experiences this conference provides. Congratulations to all three!
