CTIS students selected for the 2024-2025 Dwight D. Eisenhower Student Fellowship Program
CTIS is proud to announce that five of our students got selected for the Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program. We want to extend our congratulations to Sebastian Morales, Jesus Macias, Flavio Chavarria, Hector Cruz, and Emilio Torres.
The Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship Program (DDETFP) awards annual fellowships to students in transportation-related fields, aiming to build a strong, skilled workforce. Since 1983, DDETFP has invested over $50 million, supporting careers in areas like infrastructure, aviation, and maritime. Each year, the program awards 150-200 merit-based grants, with categories including graduate fellowships, local competitions at minority-serving institutions, and research grants with the U.S. Department of Transportation. Fellows also present their work at the Transportation Research Board Annual Meeting, showcasing innovations poised to advance the nation's transportation industry.
