Undergraduate Program
The Mechanical Engineering undergraduate program is designed for students who desire to enter industry or pursue advanced studies. The curriculum provides a broad range of courses in the area of thermal sciences, fluid mechanics, mechanical design, and manufacturing.
Graduate Program
The graduate program in Mechanical Engineering prepares our students to excel in independent research in the areas of solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, dynamics, design, combustion as well as a focus on emerging areas of research such as alternative energy, green propulsion, rapid prototyping and manufacturing. The graduate education seeks to develop all aspects of the student with engaging and innovative classes, pioneering research and professional development with respect to grantsmanship and teaching. Our past graduate students are represented and actively recruited in academia, national research labs and in industry.
