Rebeca Fierro – Undergraduate Student

Rebeca F. Pérez-Martinez earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor is Sociology at the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2019. Her research interests include Positive Psychology (i.e., Self-Determination Theory, Self-concordance Model, resilience) to help people make modifications to their behaviors and improve mental and physical health. She is currently applying to graduate school and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Health Psychology. Her long-term goal is to establish a non-profit that implements and expands this line of research out in the community for broader impact.
