She completed her Master's thesis titled "An Investigation of In-Session Client Change Language and Stage of Change" in which she evaluated the relationship between client's language in Motivational Interviewing and the transtheoretical model of change. Since graduating in 2017, Reyna has continued working with the LAHDR Center as Training Coordinator, where she works closely with organizations to coordinate, develop, and provide trainings and supervision in Motivational Interivewing and Brief Motivational Interventions. Under the supervision of Patricia Juarez and with the honor of being trained by leaders in the MI world (including Dr. William Miller, Dr. Carolina Yahne, Dr. Theresa Moyers, Dr. Denise Ernst, and Dr. Scott Walters), Reyna became a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) in 2018. Reyna continues serving as an active member of the MINT and is currently pursuing her License in Professional Counseling.
