The Glass Gallery

Mission

The Glass Gallery, an exhibition space sponsored by the Department of Art at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), seeks to exhibit dynamic contemporary art within the Fox Fine Arts complex on campus. Primarily a venue for exhibitions of current UTEP art students’ work, the Glass Gallery also hosts visiting artists periodically. The Glass Gallery serves as an exhibition space for a diverse range of media and features approximately eight exhibitions every semester. In providing an exhibition space for high quality student art, the Department of Art seeks to broaden the visibility of contemporary art on campus.

Reservation Process

Current UTEP art students and studio art classes requesting a portfolio exhibition must email an exhibition reservation for the Glass Gallery to NIck Gialanella (ngialanella@utep.edu). Most exhibitions span one to two weeks. Students are responsible for the installation and de-installation of their exhibitions, openings, closings, and or other events, and distributing exhibition information.
