Mr. H. Homero Galicia

Hector Homero Galicia is the President of Galicia NT, Inc, dba: Ascend: Entrepreneurial Growth. He coaches small business owners to build sustainable business for continuous growth and profitability. Mr. Galicia teaches a course in Hispanic Entrepreneurship at UT El Paso in the Chicano Studies Dept. Homero Galicia is the host of Hispanic Biz-Success Stories at El Paso Community College Television. He is gathering the entrepreneurial stories of successful Hispanic Business owners since 2012. He also conducted a series of Oral Histories of Hispanic Entrepreneurs at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2009: www.heho.utep.edu.
Mr. Galicia’s experience includes service as a small businesses consultant in the El Paso community and to the local school districts and educational programs as an educational consultant. In 1995 Homero launched his venture as a business owner forming Galicia International as a computer hardware vendor and later migrated to computer software sales. He has been involved in the El Paso business community since 1985 when he was the Director of the Minority Business Council at the El Paso Chamber of Commerce. He served as the Interim Executive Director of the El Paso Chamber of Commerce in 1991.
