Dr. Lizely Madrigal-Gonzalez

Dr. Lizely Madrigal-Gonzalez is a Program Evaluation Research Specialist for the Research Evaluation and Assessment Services (REAS) unit under the Office of Research & Sponsored Projects at the University of Texas at El Paso. In the past, she worked as a program evaluator for the Ysleta Independent School District, the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and El Paso Empowerment Zone Corporation. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez has academic knowledge and actual work experience in evaluation design, qualitative and quantitative methods including descriptive and analytical statistics, educational research, policy analysis, student information systems, and data-driven decision making. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez has also served as an external program evaluator for the Workforce Solutions Borderplex. Dr. Madrigal earned a Master’s Degree in Sociology from San Diego State University in 2001, with a concentration in Research Methods. She completed a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from New Mexico State University in 2004. She entered the Educational Leadership doctoral program at the University of Texas at El Paso in 2007. She received her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Policy, Evaluation and Technology in May 2012. Dr. Madrigal-Gonzalez is also a lecturer for the Chicano Studies Department
