The Hotel BEI has extended the deadline for guest room rates until Feb.23.
The BEI Hotel in San Francisco is offering a special reduced rate for HERA conference attendees of 128.00, ($149.05 including all taxes). The hotel is offering the HERA special room rate for the 3 nights before and 3 nights after the conference of $149.05 including taxes for those who wish to remain longer. Subject to availability. The BEI Hotel is very near the Asian Art Museum, the San Francisco Public Library, City Hall, the symphony, SF Jazz Center and ballet (in March). Via MUNI or BART, most of the sights of San Francisco are accessible.
HOW TO GET THE HERA SPECIAL ROOM RATE: Each individual guest must make his or her own reservation by calling 415-626-6103. Guests making such reservations must identify themselves as members of “HERA Conference” Group, with reservation number 240306HERA.
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. If a guest does not cancel a reservation within forty-eight (48) hours before the guest’s check-in date, then Hotel may charge the credit card one night’s room fee plus any applicable taxes.
Early Departure Charge. All sleeping rooms shall be subject to an Early Departure Charge equal to one night’s room rate, plus applicable fees, taxes and assessments.
TRAVEL TO THE BEI HOTEL: To arrive at the BEI Hotel, fly in to SFO airport. Take the BART train directly from the airport to the Civic Center station. At the station, depart by way of the 8th Street side of the station to exit. The hotel is across the street, ½ of a block away.

TRAVEL TO SAN FRANCISCO STATE UNIVERSITY: To travel to San Francisco State University from the hotel, cross the street to the Civic Center MUNI station at the 8th Street entrance. (This is the same station you arrived in.) Board the M train outbound to the San Francisco State University station (19th and Holloway) for the meetings.
Walk on Holloway avenue to Tapia Way, turn right and you’ll see the Humanities Building straight ahead of you.
