Bachelor of Music in Music Education
The Bachelor of Music Degree with Teacher Certification plan leads to professional certification that qualifies graduates to teach in both elementary and secondary public schools in Texas. The major in Music Education may be pursued in the following fields:
- Instrumental, for those whose primary instruments are in the strings, woodwind, brass, and percussion areas.
- Vocal, for those whose primary instrument is the voice.
- Guitar, for those whose primary instrument is the guitar.
- Keyboard, for those whose primary instrument is the piano.
