Bachelor of Music in Music Education
The Bachelor of Music Degree with Teacher Certification plan leads to professional certification that qualifies graduates to teach in both elementary and secondary public schools in Texas. The major in Music Education may be pursued in two fields:
- INSTRUMENTAL, designed for those wishing to teach band or orchestral instruments
- CHORAL, designed for those wishing to teach voice and choir
NOTE: These degrees are not available for students whose main performing areas are guitar or keyboard.
