Associate Professor of Psychology wins Early Career Award
Associate Professor Katherine Serafine from the department of psychology received the 2026 J.H. Woods Early Career Award in Behavioral Psychology from the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET).
The Division for Behavioral Pharmacology established this award to recognize outstanding original research by early career investigators in behavioral pharmacology. Professor Serafine was recognized for her excellence in teaching, mentoring, and research in behavioral pharmacology.
ASPET is the premier and largest scientific society for pharmacologists in the United States, known for the high quality of its annual scientific meeting and its scientific journals, including the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
