Appointments for pick-up

Once your laptop is ready for pick-up, you will be given an appointment to come to the LACIT Computer Lab located in LART 405 to finalize your laptop's setup with your UTEP credentials. Please note that these laptops come with no peripherals.  You or your department must purchase any and all accessories.  A listing of recommended USB-C adapters can be located at this link.

If you need specialized software not part of the standard UTEP software (e.g. Office, etc.), please let us know in advance at lacit@utep.edu or acastellanos@utep.edu so that we can try to have it pre-installed before you come in to the lab.

If you need to transfer files to your new computer, please let us know ahead of time so that we can try to perform file backups before you arrive to your appointment. If at all possible, provide your old computer to us beforehand so that we can back up your files before you arrive.
