AUDITIONS
for
DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
TUESDAY, August 27, 2024, 6:00 P.M.

UTEP Dinner Theatre ~ 2nd Floor, Union Building West ~ UTEP Campus

All auditioning MUST have a song prepared to sing with a piano accompaniment.

All roles are open; nothing has been precast. There are roles for men, women, and children (ages 9-12).

Everyone auditioning should provide their own sheet music; a pianist will be provided. No pre-recorded tracks are allowed. You must sing with the accompanist provided. Those auditioning will also be asked to read from the script. Auditions are private.

Rehearsals for BEAUTY and the BEAST officially begin Wednesday, August 28, 2024, and continue Mondays through Fridays at 7:00 p.m.

BEAUTY and the BEAST  is scheduled for 11 performances:
October 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 10, 24, 25, 26, 27, 2024.
If needed, additional performances will be added on October 31, November 1,2,3,7,8,10, 2024.

The classic story of Belle, a young woman in a French provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for eternity.
