Ticket Policy
The UTEP Dinner Theatre ticket policy is as follows: For each production, tickets for groups of 20 or more full-price customers and UTEP Faculty, Staff, and Students will go on sale first. One day later single ticket purchases may be made by the public.
In this website, you will see "Group & UTEP Ticket Sales" which signifies the start of sales for these groups. You will also see "Public Ticket Sales" for the date tickets go on sale for individual ticket purchases by the general public. (All dates are subject to change.) To qualify for group price you must purchase at least 20 full price tickets. If you are interested in purchasing more than 100 tickets or the entire house for a specific performance, you may make arrangement for these purchases anytime during the year by calling (915)747-6060.
This policy was established due to the large percentage of tickets which are sold to groups. By selling them early, we will know in advance whether to add extra performances.
It is the UTEP Dinner Theatre's policy not to refund tickets. Tickets may be exchanged at original place of purchase no fewer than 7 days prior to ticketed performance date. After that time, no exchanges are allowed. In case of a problem requiring cancellation during the 1st Act of the performance, the price of the show minus the price of the meal will be refunded or may be exchanged at the place of purchase 3 days after performance date. If a problem occurs requiring cancellation after intermission, tickets will not be refunded or exchanged.

Food policies
Unfortunately, no doggie bags (take home food) are allowed as the health and safety of our patrons is our greatest concern and like wise, no outside food or drink (including alcoholic beverages) are allowed in the theatre. Snacks and drinks may be purchased at the Sodexho concession bar in our lobby and are welcome in the theatre for you to enjoy during our no dinner matinee performances.
For those requesting special dietary meals including vegetarian, vegan, lactose-intolerant, etc. our caterer, Sodexho will be happy to cater to your needs with a 24 hour advance notice. Please call (915) 747-6060, 24 hours prior to the date on your ticket to submit your special meal request. You must have already purchased your ticket before you call as we will need to know the performance date which you will be attending as well as the table number at where you will be seated at. There are a limited number of meal choices for alternative meals. Please remember we must have 24 hours notice.
Other policies
Because we are part of a university that offers classes requiring students to see the show and turn in their ticket and program, we will not give out copies of the program to those who simply request them. Programs are only given out to those who have purchased a ticket and are in attendance at the production. The UTEP Dinner Theatre offers student discounts to all performances.
Due to the nature of the dinner theatre experience children under the age of 3 are not permitted in the UTEP Dinner Theatre. Most evenings at the dinner theatre last about 4 hours including dinner and the show and extremely young children and infants would find this an uncomfortable experience. All customers in attendance at a UTEP Dinner Theatre performance require a ticket. Some of our shows are marketed to an “adult” audience. It is up to the ticket purchaser to make sure the production they wish to attend is appropriate for their child.
