Crystal E. Salas, Choreographer

Born and raised in El Paso, TX. Crystal currently works as a Senior Accountant at WestStar Bank. Honored to have been a cast member of Viva! El Paso under the direction of Hector Serrano in 2002, she continued with Viva! El Paso through 2011 as a performer and part of the artistic staff as the principal choreographer from 2011 to 2013 under the direction of Jaime Barba. She returned to VivaI El Paso as a choreographer from 2023-2025 under the direction of Jaime Carrasco. Crystal has performed with UTEP Dinner Theater in Cats, West Side Story, Grease, Footloose, Marry Poppins to name a few. She was given the opportunity to choreograph The Prom, Damn Yankees, We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde, Beauty and the Beast, and The SpongeBob Musical with UTEP Dinner Theater. Recently, she returned to the stage as she performing in Zapateados 2024 and 2025 under the direction of Hector Serrano and is currently a member of the Zapateados Special Edition Co.
