Justin P. Cardenas, Music Director

As a fine arts education advocate, Justin recognizes the crucial role the arts play in education - and yes, he firmly believes that fine arts are core subjects. He has been Music Director at the UTEP Dinner Theatre since 2023. He has music directed DAMN YANKEES, LEGALLY BLONDE, our UDT IN CONCERT, DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, GREASE, and THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL for UDT. Justin has been involved at The Dinner Theater for 19 years, starting as a backstage chorus member for CATS, he also performed in 8-TRACK and was the Cowardly Lion in THE WIZARD OF OZ. Justin also served as a pit musician for musicals such as RENT, MISS SAIGON, MAMMA MIA, A CHORUS LINE, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, and many more from 2005-2019.
