Miner Metro Shuttle Service Update
Miner Metro Shuttle services will not operate through August 23, 2026. Service will resume on August 24, 2026, at the start of the Fall 2026 semester. Details about Fall 2026 shuttle service will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, please use the special cross parking (alternative) options listed below.
Cross Parking Options Available
During the Miner Metro Shuttle out of service period through August 23, 2026, cross parking will be allowed with ANY VALID UTEP parking permit in the following parking locations: Remote (Green) lots, Perimeter (Blue/Silver) lots, Sun Bowl Garage, and Schuster Garage.
Inner Campus access and parking will be allowed with ANY VALID UTEP parking permit after 3 p.m.
Paid visitor parking is available at Hawthorne 1 (HA1) and the Sun Bowl Garage visitor section.
During this time, parking rules and regulations will continue to be enforced.

Route change effective June 30, 2026
The Campus Loop (Green) Route has been suspended due to ongoing campus construction and replaced by the East (Blue) Route. The East Route now serves the east and south side of campus, including new stops along Schuster Avenue. Campus Loop riders should review the East Route stops below before traveling - you may need to use a different stop than before.
Routes
West Route (Orange)
Miner Canyon to Miner Alley, behind the Sun Bowl Parking Garage.
Monday-Friday: 7:35 am - 5:31 pm
Last pickup from Miner Alley: 5:20 pm
Frequency: every 21 minutes, traffic permitting
East Route (Blue)
Connects the main campus and the Campbell Building, with expanded service on the east and south side of campus, including stops along Schuster Avenue. The Miner Alley stop is not served by this route.
Monday-Friday: 7:37 am - 5:25 pm
Frequency: every 18 minutes, traffic permitting
East (Blue) Route stops
The East Route makes six stops. Riders accessing the Miner Heights and Prospect areas will have shorter walks than with the previous Campus Loop route.
