Fine Art Family Days are opportunities for multi-generational families to engage with contemporary art through a variety of studio workshops, guest lecturers, artists and performers, and gallery tours. All of our educational programming complements the contemporary art exhibitions currently on display at the Rubin Center.
Explore weaving through hands-on experimentation with textiles, fibers, and unexpected materials. Developed and facilitated by UTEP art education students, this Family Day invites participants of all ages to create, discover, and experiment together.
Family Day workshop will host two options of craft-making activities that are connected to the theme of the Nortejiendo: Tejidos del Entorno and textiles.
