The Student Show is always a way to exhibit the work that is done by UTEP Art students, it is also
a competition where the best of disciplines such as Metals, Printmaking, Ceramics, Drawing,
Sculpture, Painting, Graphic Design, and Photography, are awarded. Also awarded are the best of
the best within the student show with the Susan Klahr Memorial Award , the Sara & Tom Lea
Purchase Award for Best Life Drawing or Life Painting , and the Arlene Smith McKinnon Award for
Overall Best of Show .
