Graphic Design Juror

Eduardo Sanchez is a graphic designer, founder and director of S, a graphic design studio based in Mexico City dedicated to the creation and development of brand identities for independent companies, cultural events, packaging design and brand protection. He is also a melomaniac and a craft beer entrepreneur. From the age of 14, Eduardo worked for several graphic design studios in Mexico and later received his BA in Graphic Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana. He then decided to pursue a wider view of design in the United Kingdom - one that goes against the idea of design as a servant of corporate goals and marketing decisions. In 2005, Eduardo graduated with honors from the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design as an M.A. in Design Management. He returned to Mexico and founded his own design studio with the purpose of delivering quality and responsible design.

Along with his handpicked team and other specialized collaborators, Eduardo works closely with clients from a wide range of areas developing design projects that contribute and foster cultural and commercial activity in Mexico.S, with support from the Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (Conaculta), recently co-edited the photo-biography of the prominent Brazilian writer, Clarice Lispector, that is now being distributed in Spanish-speaking countries around the globe.
