Housing and Residence Life will Miners Height to Guests from June 1 to July 31.
Reservation of our facilities or services should not be considered confirmed until written confirmation is received from Housing and Residence Life staff.
Eligibility
To be eligible to utilize on-campus housing at The University of Texas at El Paso, Guest must have a sponser.
Guest Rates:
Guest Rate: $30 per person – per night.
*This rate does NOT include linen. There will be a $35 additional charge per linen set.
Camps and Conference reservation requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the desired arrival date.
What is provided?

- Free laundry machines available on the property
The following items should not be brought:
- Candles (decorative or functional) and incense or any item that produces a flame or smoke.
- Any type of pets- (only fish in aquariums of 20 gallons or less will be allowed, as well as service animals with documentation from the CASS Office on the UTEP Campus.)
- Window/ portable air conditioning units
- Wireless routers.
- Amplified instruments or drum sets.

How to connect to Wi-FI
Guest who are not UTEP student should connect to EDUTOAM network. EDUROAM is a shared network used network used by many colleges and universities; avaiability depend on whether your home institution participates.

What to know?
- Miner Village dumpsters are located outside Cottonwood, & Ocotillo.
- Miner Village laundry rooms are located on the 1st floor of Sacramento, Hueco, Chisos, & Del Norte Hall.
- Miner Canyon laundry rooms are located on the second and third floor of Copper Hall.
- Miner Canyon dumpsters are located outside of Copper Hall and outside of Boquillas Hall.
- Please close all gates as you leave and enter
- No gates should be propped
- Be sure to turn off all lights & close all doors and windows if you exit your apartment.

How to Check Out:
All rooms must be returned in the same condition in which they were given. For your convenience cleaning supplies are available at the front desk at no extra cost. Please return your key and/or white guest card to the fMiner Hieghts (see office hours listed below). Failure to return the room key will result in a $55 lock change fee. Failure to return the guest card will result in a $25 replacement fee.
When you leave your apartment, make sure all windows are closed, all lights are turned off, take all trash out to the dumpster, turn off the AC/Heating unit, and close and lock the front door.
Please contact the front office or the RA On-Call of the respective property at least 30 minutes prior to your departure.
