New Residence Hall in Fall 2028

UTEP is excited to open a brand-new residence hall in Fall 2028, designed for first-year students! This building will offer traditional hallway-style rooms with pod-style restrooms, making it easy to meet people and build connections. Pod-style restrooms throughout the building will provide privacy in a shared community setting. Located near the center of campus, you’ll be just steps away from classes, campus activities, student support services, and sporting events, everything you need to feel connected and involved from day one.

This new community will help you succeed and enjoy your college experience. You’ll have plenty of space to study with friends, a gym right on the first floor, and a dining hall for added convenience. Living here means you’ll be surrounded by other first-year students, making it easy to make friends, get involved, and grow as a leader through campus engagement activities and leadership opportunities.
