Local bands, this is your shot to shine! Showcase your talent and compete for the title of “Best Band” at this year’s Minerpalooza. UTEP students, faculty, and staff will vote online to choose their favorites. The top three bands will perform live at Texas Western Gold Rush on Monday, August 25, and the top two finalists will take the stage at Minerpalooza on Friday, Sept. 5.
The grand prize winner will be crowned live at Minerpalooza and earn bragging rights, a performance spotlight, and exclusive prizes!

The top five bands will receive a free live performance video with professionally recorded audio.
The winner of Battle of the Bands will earn one week of studio time at Genuine Reference Studios.
