Colombia Program
About
This program is a collaboration between the Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (ITM) located in Medellin, Colombia in partnership with the University of Texas at El Paso. We are excited to announce that the 100,000 Strong in the Americas Innovation Fund grant will help both institutions to develop a joint research training program for students pursuing computer and electrical engineering degrees. The program goal is to help students develop research skills in computer vision and obtain an international academic experience, including the study of techniques for image processing and analysis in different application domain. There will be special emphasis placed in projects related to processing of remote sensing imagery and non-invasive diagnosis for skin diseases.
Eligibility
The person applying must be a senior, master, or doctoral student in Electrical Engineering. They must have taken Upper Division Electrical & Computer Engineering courses. Minimum GPA is 3.0.
