Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, the student will be able to:
1: Knowledge (Cognitive Domain)- recognize the different perceptions of health and wellness within a socio-cultural context;
- identify and compare the roles and responsibilities of different health and rehabilitation professionals;
- identify the characteristics (i.e., structure, basic policy) of the U.S. health care system;
- describe the role of health care informatics and information management technologies within the health care environment;
- identify the various (i.e., quantitative and qualitative) research designs and methods applied in health science;
- discuss and apply the principles of continuous quality improvement within health care;
- recognize the concepts and models of interdisciplinary collaboration; and
- outline ethical constructs within the field of health care.
