Accreditation Status
The UTEP MPH Program is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The CEPH is the accrediting agency for schools and colleges of public health in the United States. The UTEP MPH Program was awarded initial accreditation on June 8, 2013 for the full five-year term, extending to July 1, 2018.
As part of the process, CEPH requires programs to produce a self-study which is a comprehensive description and self-analysis of the program, its governance, and available resources, faculty, students, academic curriculum, research, and community service.
A site visit for reaccreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health was conducted on February 15 - 16, 2018. On September 7, 2018 CEPH re-accredited the UTEP MPH program for another 7 years, to expire on December 31, 2025.
