Mission

In support of UTEP’s and UT System’s visions, missions and goals, the Office of Institutional Compliance strives to provide an atmosphere of compliance awareness that encourages all UTEP employees to conduct themselves with high ethical standards in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations by being professional, objective, resourceful, and customer oriented.

Vision

The University of Texas at El Paso's Office of Institutional Compliance strives to be a trusted member of UTEP and the University of Texas System community by promoting honesty, integrity, trust and ethics.

Scope of Responsibility

To provide employee training through the University's compliance program, to facilitate the monitoring of compliance on a University-wide basis, to report on compliance issues and participate in the Enterprise Risk Management process.
