Application Deadlines
All applications must be completed and submitted by 11:59pm MST on March 15, 2023.
Letters of recommendation must be submitted by the recommender by no later that 11:59pm MST on March 25, 2023.

- 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale) or higher
- Rising junior or senior graduating December 2023 or later. Outstanding rising sophomores will also be considered.
- Proof of health insurance coverage
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age on the program start date (May 22, 2023)

For Undergraduates
May 22 - August 5, 2023
*Out of town arrivals are expected to arrive at least two days in advance of the program start date.

- Reside on campus during the program (out-of-town undergraduates only)
- Work 40 hours per week
- Actively participate in a research program
- Complete all safety and laboratory training requirements
- Attend additional workshops and seminars
- Present project data at the end-of-summer symposium

All program participants will be paid a stipend as follows (totals are pre-tax):
Undergraduates: approximately $4,400 for the 11-week program, plus on campus accommodations for out of town students. Out of Town students are also eligible to receive up to $600 in travel support
High school teachers: approximately $7,700 for 7 weeks.
Note: some meals and snacks will be provided on symposium and workshop days, but you will be expected to support your own daily expenses for food, toiletries, recreation, etc.
