Students derive many benefits from taking a Developmental English course. Developmental English courses are designed to improve your communication skills so that you can communicate effectively in writing and improve your critical reading skills. You will learn the close relationship between active reading and purposeful writing.

Our courses stress the reading skills needed for success in college-level course work. You'll learn to recognize and apply appropriate reading techniques to a variety of audiences and purposes.
