Fall Commencement to Celebrate More than 2,800 Graduates

EL PASO, Texas (Dec. 12, 2024) – The University of Texas at El Paso will host four in-person Commencement ceremonies this weekend at the Don Haskins Center to honor more than 2,800 fall and summer 2024 graduates and degree candidates.

Beginning in the spring of 2025, UTEP will offer a new bachelor's degree in artificial intelligence. The undergraduate program will be only the third of its kind offered in the entire state of Texas.

UTEP Launches Bachelor’s in Artificial Intelligence

EL PASO, Texas (Dec. 10, 2024) – Artificial intelligence is transforming modern life, and computer science students at The University of Texas at El Paso will now have a chance to be at the cutting edge of the technological revolution. Beginning in the spring of 2025, UTEP is launching a new Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI). The program is only the third AI bachelor’s degree offered in the state of the Texas.
