The performance evaluation deadline is fast approaching! The evaluations are a tool giving supervisors the opportunity to develop, encourage, and recognize positive performance and workplace behaviors. The evaluation process has moved from a paper system to an electronic system hosted within PeopleSoft. Some of the highlights of the new system is electronic routing, spell check, and a reduction of paper usage. In addition, both employees and supervisors will retain electronic copies of the performance evaluation within PeopleSoft.
Annual performance evaluations are conducted on a calendar year basis evaluating the employee from January thru December. Employees working more than 50% are required to have an annual evaluation. The electronic system will only be used for staff. Faculty evaluations will continue to be conducted through the colleges.
Deadline to submit staff evaluations is March 31.
