The DoART utilizes central advising (AAC for Art Majors Freshmen and Sophomores (0-60 hours) and or COLA Class Center for Art Majors Juniors and Seniors (61-120+ hours)

FAQ's

• Formal DoART Compliant Process (Not Grade Appeals):

Please email DoART and explain the complaint/issue/concern and or schedule an appointment with the DoART Department Chair.

• Formal UTEP Grade Appeal Process:

Department Chairs do not review grades and or course work/material and or cannot change grades or allow prerequisites to be by-passed.

Students need to work to resolve the grade issue with the professor first, if that does not resolve the issue, students can file a formal UTEP grade grievance/appeal based on listed criteria found at this link.
