Wendy S. Francis, Ph.D.
Professor of Psychology

Dr. Francis came to UTEP in 1999 and is now a tenured Professor. She conducts research on bilingualism and memory and teaches courses in cognition, memory, and statistics.

A. J. Cruz

A.J. is a Ph.D. student in the Bilingualism, Language, and Cognition area. She recently finished her first-year project on the effects of interactional context on memory for content and speakers in observed bilingual conversations. She is currently working on her M.A. thesis on the effects of interactional context on memory for content and listeners in participatory bilingual conversations.

 
Ben

BIng-Jie Wu (ben)

Ben is a Ph.D. student in the Bilingualism, Language, and Cognition area. He is currently working on his first-year project on the effects of word frequency, presentation rate, and language proficiency on rehearsal and free recall dynamics.
