Spanish at UTEP
Spanish is one of the languages offered by the Department of Chicano Studies, Languages, and Linguistics. Spanish courses may be taken towards the completion of a minor or major in that area, to satisfy the Liberal Arts foreign language requirement if the student does not already speak Spanish, or to enhance one’s program of study as an elective.
