French Consul General, Mr. Alexis Andres, Meets with UTEP Students

On Thursday, May 9, 2019, the French Consul General from Houston, Texas, Mr. Alexis Andres, met with UTEP students, their instructors, and members of the El Paso community in the Geology Reading Room on campus. Mr. Alexis spoke about Franco-American relations for the past 250 years as well as the importance of the French language in today's world. This event was sponsored by the Department of Languages and Linguistics and the French Alliance of El Paso.
