Welcome to the UTEP Museum Studies Program: where Borderlands museum professionals grow! With MUSE, our desert roots have global reach—MUSE alumni have gone on to leading positions at major Arts and Cultural Heritage institutions in Texas, across the United States, and beyond. We welcome UTEP students from any College and Major program of study and have supported students from the Departments of Art, Art History, History, Sociology & Anthropology, English, Communications, Philosophy, Psychology, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, and more. No matter your classification or area of museum-industry interest, we are excited to set you on the path to professional success.
The UTEP Museum Studies Program is housed within the Department of Art and directs both the Minor in Museum Studies and the Certificate in Exhibition Practice.
